Hostinger AI Builder (Horizons) vs Lovable vs Bolt: Which to Use?
Hostinger AI Builder, formerly Horizons, vs Lovable vs Bolt: the same app built in all three, compared on results, credits, hosting, domains and price.
Hostinger AI Builder, Lovable and Bolt all turn a plain-English description into a working website or web app. Hostinger’s tool was launched as Horizons and is now part of Hostinger AI Builder; the old Horizons page redirects there. The three look similar in a demo, but they’re built for different people: Lovable and Bolt are AI coding tools that charge for building, while Hostinger bundles an AI builder into a hosting plan that already includes your domain, hosting and email.
To compare them fairly, I built the same small app in all three with the same prompt and tracked how many messages it took, what broke, and what it cost to publish it on my own domain.

Quick Verdict:
- Choose Hostinger AI Builder if you want a finished business site or simple web app online on your own domain at the lowest total cost, and you don’t need dozens of rounds of changes.
- Choose Lovable if you want the most polished design with little prompting and plan to iterate a lot.
- Choose Bolt if you want a full code editor in the browser and control over the code, or if you’re a developer.

The key difference is what you pay for. On Lovable and Bolt, you pay for AI usage; hosting is a side feature. On Hostinger, you pay for hosting, and AI credits come with it. That makes Hostinger cheap for getting one site online, but its credit allowance is small, so it’s less suited to long back-and-forth building sessions.
How I Tested
I gave all three tools the same prompt:
Build a booking website for a small dog-grooming business. It needs a home page with services and prices, a booking form where customers pick a service, date and time, bookings saved in a database, an admin login where the owner can see and cancel bookings, and a $20 deposit payment with Stripe at booking.
Then I kept going until the app worked, or until I’d sent 10 follow-up messages, and published it on a custom domain where the plan allowed it.
For each tool I recorded:
- Messages and credits/tokens used to reach a working version.
- Time from the first prompt to a working version.
- What worked on the first try, and what I had to fix.
- Design quality, on desktop and mobile.
- Publishing: how easy it was to go live on my own domain, with HTTPS.
- Code export: whether I could download or sync the code.
- Total cost to build it and keep it online for a year.

Hostinger AI Builder
Hostinger AI Builder (formerly Horizons) builds business sites, booking and membership sites, online stores and simple web apps from a prompt. It has a built-in backend, so there’s no separate database or server to set up, supports Stripe payments and user login, and lets you edit or export the full source code. Everything runs on Hostinger’s hosting, so publishing on your own domain with HTTPS is part of the package.
The Premium plan costs $2.99/month on a 48-month term ($143.52 upfront) and includes hosting, a free domain for the first year, business email and 5 AI credits; Unlimited ($3.99/month) includes 15. They renew at $10.99 and $16.99/month. You can also try it with 5 free AI credits before paying.

Lovable
Lovable is a chat-based app builder known for polished, modern designs from short prompts. It builds full-stack apps with Lovable Cloud for the database, authentication and storage, and syncs your project to GitHub, so you own the code. The free plan gives 5 build credits per day, up to 30 per month; a simple message uses about one credit, and bigger changes use more.

Bolt
Bolt (bolt.new) by StackBlitz runs a complete development environment in your browser: you see the file tree and a code editor next to the chat, and you can edit the code yourself at any point. The free plan includes 300K tokens per day and 1M per month; Pro costs $25/month, removes the daily limit, starts at 10M tokens per month with rollover, removes Bolt branding and supports custom domains.

Which One Should You Choose?
- You run a small business and want a site or booking app online cheaply: Hostinger AI Builder. Hosting, domain and email are included, and the total cost over several years is the lowest.
- You’re prototyping a product idea and want it to look great fast: Lovable.
- You’re a developer, or want to understand and change the code: Bolt.

Final Thoughts:
Lovable and Bolt are better building tools: they give you more AI usage and, in Bolt’s case, direct control over the code. Hostinger AI Builder is the better publishing deal: for a small business site or simple app, you get the AI builder, hosting, domain and email for less per month than either AI tool’s paid plan alone. Pick based on whether you’ll spend more time building or running your site.
